    So when do know?

Ok, I hate to be impatient here, but when will we know who won the competition? Actually, what I want more is to see the other entries. Is it possible to post all the entries before the winner is actually announced?

You're not the only one nervously reloading http://omg.worsethanfailure.com/ every five minutes.  However, I think they're going to announce it when they announce it.  I mean, they have a pile of @$#! 350 entries tall to wade through.  (And I proudly include my entry as, hopefully, significantly contributing to the stink.)

It took them[1] two days to get through 250 entries.  They've had another two days since then, so they've probably compiled everything and run it by now.  Probably.  Which means they now have the task of deciding.  They are probably busy reading code, READMEs, SOLUTIONs and what have you.  They must choose amonst  bad, atrocious, and vomitous interfaces wrapped around spaghetti, rotten, crufty, kludgy engines.

"Is this enterprisey themed entry better than this legacy code entry?"  "OMG, What the hell did this guy do with polymorphism."  "Geez, I'm glad I don't have to maintain his code."  "Ugh, that's an obnoxious interface... Extra points."

It would seem that compiling all the entries is only the first 90% of the job.  Hopefully, they're well into the second 90%.  Otherwise, this could take months.

My first guess was a fortnight after the due date. Not based on any facts, but I may be able predict the future. Time to test my powers: I predict the winning entry will be... *concentrates* the real WTF.

I'd actually like them to be published, and the people here being able to vote them.

This could actually contribute to the final judgement, or maybe it could only be used for a "people's choice" award... but it would anyway be absolutely fun.
