Seriously, you couldn't look a few posts down to see if this had already been posted?

Or maybe on the front page?

    I guess I'm back.

Duplicates are an important part of the environment here on TDWTF. They allow those suffering from anterograde amnesia an opportunity to enjoy it again for the second time.

In these people's defence, this one has yet to stop making me laugh every time I see it.

All in all, this is either the stupidest thing I've read all week (and I'm porting SSDS to .NET!), or the worst trolling attempt ever.

Have any of you guys seen this?

The crazy thing is, not only is there a porn site on there, but they also have TDWTF open!  Crazy!

You all missed the Real WTF (okay, not too much of a wtf): if it was a genuine TDWTF window, the window caption would've been "The Daily WTF: Curious Perversions in Information Technology - Internet Explorer", not "thedailywtf....".

Not necessarily; the screen-capture might have been taken whilst the page was still loading. Well spotted anyway, though.

yes, THAT is why it was posted many times over between here and the front page.  THAT is the reason.

Did you bother to make the same check to see if myfirstsexteacher button had the correct title?

Check the front page more closely. On that desktop, TDWTF isn't open. One can assume that they looked at their referrer information and added it later.

This was posted in the front page comments right after it happened, then this thread was created and then a 2nd sidebar thread was created today.  This is fucking ridiculous.

No, no, no. Look at the picture again. It's called "the case of the missing chocolate cake," but as you can plainly see, there's a cake right there on the table. Now, that leaves two possibilities: 1) those people are the worst detectives in the history of time, and I find the odds of the six worst detectives ever being in the same place at the same time highly unlikely, or 2) that cake on the table isn't chocolate. So what is the cake, then? I think it's pretty obvious that is a shit cake. Now, notice that someone has taken a slice out of that cake, presumably to eat it, thus, I am telling him to eat shit.

No, because if you look closely, Colonel Mustard is reading thedailywtf.com on his iPhone.

No no no, CLEARLY that cake is a vanilla cake with chocolate icing, hence the chocolate cake is still missing.  Please try to keep your shit eating fantasies out of TDWTF.

You just don't get it, do you? Have you ever tried to make the actual cake with shit? Let me tell you something: it doesn't work. It never sets up right; it's always either way too moist or way too firm. Instead, you ice the cake with shit. Now, I'll grant you that the missing chocolate cake could also be iced with shit, but the fact still remains that it's clearly a shit cake sitting on that table with a slice taken out of it.

Maybe the cake wasn't stolen, but Professor Plum just had an "understanding" with Colonel Mustard where the Professor would eat cake he found and the Colonel would pay for it.

This sounds like a dietary problem.  Perhaps you should try being a vegan for awhile.

Why can't you handle the fact that no matter how much cake the Professor eats, it still costs him the same amount? Whether Colonel Mustard is paying twice as much or not is irrelevant and in no way stealing. Next you'll be suggesting that the federal government pays for the cake. I mean, what is this, Canada, with it's socialist guarantee of day-old shit cake for everyone?
