    Cap'n Steve:
So if you write a program that has all the features anyone could possibly want and is so easy to use that no one needs support, you deserve to be poor?

In a capitalist society, everyone "deserves" to be poor until they take stuff from other people. The underlying principle is "you get what you grab".

I'm not sure what capitalism has to do with Cap'n Steve's comment.  However, you're apparently trying to start a "socialism rulez" flamewar...  Congrats, I hope that works out well for you.

Jeez, don't you know yet that everyone else is wrong and asuffield is right?

Such a thing isn't possible, so the point isn't worth debating.

FYI... I may not be on the latest nvidia drivers and can't check right now. But I run an 8800 on a 680i mobo and Vista sleeps/wakes fine for me.

    *shrug*

Might want to look in on what actually causes it, b/c I don't think it is Nvidia.

Chances are they have already been paid, as it no longer needs to be supported or modified then no-one would have any reason to change the code even if the code was closed source and non-freeware.

Whereas in socialist society "you only get what the government/com-party allows you to get". I've lived through that; it was not a pretty picture. Capitalism, with all its evils, rewards entrepreneurship and hard/smart work. Socialism mostly rewards ass-kissing.

You mean communist, and I don't think that any of us lives in one, so I fail to see the relevance, regardless of how true this may be.

It really doesn't. It mostly rewards marketing and bribery, and punishes people who do work rather than simply stealing somebody else's work.

I don't understand why people bother to argue with The Asuffield.  Obviously we are but peons compaired to him.

The pig go. Go is to the fountain. The pig put foot. Grunt. Foot in what? ketchup. The dove fly. Fly is in sky. The dove drop something. The something on the pig. The pig disgusting... see bio for the earth shattering ending.

My favorite part is that he just makes wild claims, and when you call him on it, he refuses to back anything up at all.

That's because he's the typical troll. He spouts nonsense about things he knows nothing about (but tries to act like an expert on) and then runs away to hide.
