    Publishing the finalists on WTF

Just a quick note that I will be publishing write-up articles about the twelve submissions throughout the week on the main Worse Than Failure site.

You talk about a question you asked to all finalists... does this mean I'm not in the list? :-(((

I'm guessing that if you didn't get an email, you didn't make the cut.

That's about what I figured.  I didn't get an email either, so I know mine isn't going to get some time on the front page (although, the two posted so far are zingers).  There's always next time.

Anyway, as punishment for not selecting me for the finals, I'm going to turn my entry into a fully fledged INTERCAL compiler.

There is still hope that some of our entries will have a dedicated front page article.

I’ll leave you with Stephen’s answer to a question I asked all finalists: would you replace calc.exe on Windows with your calculator?

    It's sad that I'm now sure that I'm not a finalist :(

Same here. Hopefully, the non-finalist entries will get some sort of writeup on the front page instead of just a giant linkdump.

Don't worry, I have several front-page articles planned for next week that discuss the non-finalists. There were so many incredible submissions. It was very hard to choose!

Sweet!  Here's to hoping for an honorable mention, but I'm still going through with my threat, because what the world needs now is another, more power (fully screwed up) INTERCAL compiler.  It's definitely going to adopt the threading standard.  Or, maybe, I'll adopt part of it, and make a competing, incompatible standard... Hmm, that would be even better...
